The University of Konstanz, with its Institutional Strategy to promote Top-
Level Research, has been receiving continuous funding since 2007 within the
framework of the Excellence Initiative by the German Federal and State
Governments.
Within the Department of Politics and Public Administration, the Chair
of Political Science, Policy Analysis and Political Theory (Prof. Dr. Marius R.
Busemeyer) is seeking applications for the following open position:
Post-Doc Position in Political Science
(Salary Scale 13 TV-L, working time 100 %, ca. 3500 Euro per month
gross salary)
The start date is October 1st, 2016. This position is a fixed-term position
for one year (12 months). We are looking for candidates with an interest in
comparative political economy, welfare state research, comparative public
policy and/or public opinion in advanced democracies. This position includes
a teaching load of 4 SWS (two courses/seminars per semester).
Qualifications include a MA or PhD degree in political science or a related
discipline, knowledge of comparative welfare state research, ability to work
independently as well as sound skills in both quantitative and qualitative
methodology.
